The 1oz Mayan Calendar Copper Round commemorates the legendary Mayan civilization of ancient Central America.
- Obverse: An image of the Mayan Tzolkin or sacred calendar which is divided into 20 periods (the final period being held on the back of a crouching Maya warrior. In front of the warriors face is the date 12-21-2012. This was believed to be the date on which the Mayan calendar stopped and popular legend believed this signified the end of the world.
- Reverse: The Mayan symbol representing the Hunab Ku, meaning one god or only god. The symbol also represents universal consciousness and strong connections to movement and measurement and the number zero. Around the lower left portion of the image is noted the weight and purity.
